Man charged with drug offences after stop and search operation

A MAN has been charged with drug offences following a stop and search operation in Warrington.

At around 3.20pm on Tuesday June 18 Lewis Shackleton was arrested after he was stopped and searched by officers on patrol in Victoria Park, Warrington.
The 24-year-old of Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Greater Manchester, has since been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin) and one count of possession of criminal property.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday July 17.
