New trustee role for Healthwatch Chief Executive

HEALTHWATCH Warrington Chief Executive Lydia Hughes has been appointed as a new trustee to the board at St Joseph’s Family Centre in the town.

Lydia has over 30 years’ experience across the private, public and voluntary sectors and has held senior roles in health and social care and not-for-profit organisations, including CEO of Healthwatch Warrington, Director of Operations and Service Development for a Homelessness Charity and CEO for a Domestic Abuse Charity in Greater Manchester.

Lydia also has 7 years of board experience and is currently the interim Chair of Halton Healthwatch.
She is passionate about empowering people and believes in quality person-centred services.

A spokesperson for St Joseph’s Family Centre said: “We know Lydia will make a valuable contribution to the work we do at St Joseph’s and are so happy to welcome her to the team!”

Originally established in 1917, St Joseph’s Family Centre strives to meet the ever-changing needs of local families and individuals through practical and emotional support.
