Police investigating a burglary at Warrington appeal for information

POLICE investigating a burglary in Warrington in which two motorbikes were stolen have today appealed for information and witnesses.

Between 2 am and 3 am on Wednesday, June 5, five unknown men entered the grounds of an address on Chapel Lane, Rixton-with-Glazebrook by climbing an exterior fence.
The men proceeded to forcibly access five secure storage containers using an on-site hacksaw, removing two motorbikes from one of them. The bikes are described as a white Yamaha TY125 worth around £1000 and a red/black Honda CRF worth £1400.
It is also believed the men caused substantial damage to a Mercedes Sprinter van. Detective Sergeant Paul Munnerley said: “We are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area shortly before or after the time of the incident to please contact us.

We are also keen to hear from anyone who believes they have been offered or have purchased either of the stolen bikes.”To report any information, you can contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1840310.”
