Police seeks witnesses following theft from primary school

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a theft at a primary school in Appleton, Warrington.

Sometime between 4 pm and 30 May and 7.30 am on 31 May thieves broke into a storage container at Broomfield Junior School in Bridge Lane.

Tools and copper piping were stolen from the container at the primary school.

PC Will Austin said: “I’d urge anyone who spotted any suspicious activity in the area around these times or in the run-up to the thefts to contact police. The same goes for anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may help us identify the suspects.”
