Award-winning blind pianist to perform for Stockton Heath Music Society

BLIND 19-year-old pianist, Ethan Loch, winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition 2022 will play a concert in Warrington, for Stockton Heath Music Society, on May 29.

Ethan, blind since birth, is proving to be a force of nature at the piano not only playing, but composing music as well.

Whilst continuing his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Ethan is busy performing and building his career as a concert pianist.

A recent BBC documentary about Ethan gives an insight into his life and challenges.
Ethan recently made his orchestral debut with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, playing to a sell out audience each night, he has performed with Manchester Camerata receiving a standing ovation and tumultuous applause and is due to play with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra! He is a rising star and the concert promises to be sensational!
His programme will include music from Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Haydn and others including some of his own compositions!

Sharon Cannell, Chairman of Stockton Heath Music Society says: “This is one concert that you shouldn’t miss if you love piano, classical or live music! Ethan’s skill is beyond understanding – you just sit and listen in awe.”
The concert will be held in St Thomas’ Church, London Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington on Wednesday 29th May. It starts at 7:30pm doors open at 7:00pm.
