FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a suspected arson incident after wood was set on fire next to a domestic garage at a property in Orford, Warrington.
At 23:55 one fire crew attended reports of a fire at a property on Fieldview Drive.
Wood was on fire at the side of a domestic garage and was on fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
The house was also affected by the fire and crews dampened down the area to ensure there was no further fire spread. A thermal imaging camera was operated to check the inside of the garage, which was unaffected.
