Man suffers serious hand injury at industrial incident

EMERGENCY services were called out to an industrial incident at Woolston following reports of a man receiving a serious hand injury.

At 10 am yesterday, Tuesday, May 14 police were called to reports of an industrial incident at premises on Kingsland Grange, Woolston.

Officers attended and found that the man had sustained a serious injury to his hand.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Salford Royal. It’s understood the air ambulance and paramedics attended the incident.
The incident has been reported to the Health and Safety Executive who will carry out an investigation.
