POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure in Sankey Valley Park on Sunday morning when a man in a multi-coloured balaclava exposed himself to a female jogger.
At around 7.30 am on Sunday 21 April, it was reported that a man had exposed himself to a female runner while sitting on a park bench in the vicinity of the Maltings Public House.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, of slim build and 6ft tall. He was wearing a black hooded jacket and a multi-coloured balaclava.
DC Dave Passam said: “This behaviour is not being taken lightly and we have been making a number of enquiries in the area to identify the suspect. Everyone should be able to go about their business without being made to feel unsafe or intimidated.
“I’d would urge anyone who has any information or has seen this man, or witnessed similar behaviour in the area, to contact police. The same goes for anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage that may help us track this man down.”
