Travis Perkins revamps Warrington branch

TRAVIS Perkins, which is the UK’s largest distributor of materials to the construction sector, has refurbished its Warrington branch which has been trading for over 20 years.

A new yard space has been built for the branch which means it has capacity to store more building, landscaping, and timber supplies. Its warehouse will feature new racking and displays, while its car park has also been updated with more parking spaces and a one-way system put in place.
To celebrate, the branch will host a set of supplier days on the 14th and 15th May aimed at tradespeople and general builders between 8am and 3pm. The day will include fun entertainment and activities on the day including a raffle for Travis Perkins charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society. Customers will also be able to enjoy a delicious hog roast and try their hand at mini golf.
The branch has partnered with a number of big trade brands, including the likes of roof window manufacturer, Velux, paving and landscaping company, Marshalls, and floor preparation company, Setcrete.  The participating brands will dispense advice, give away free products, offer goodie bags and also run competitions for customers.

Rebecca Davies, branch manager at Travis Perkins Warrington says: “The branch has been trading for over 20 years and we’re expanding and refurbishing our facilities to provide even more building, landscaping and timber supplies to our customers. Our experienced team has decades of experience and first-hand knowledge. The supplier days are a great opportunity for our customers to learn more about those trade brands.”
Customers will also benefit from greater choice when it comes to trading through the branch, online or by using the industry leading Travis Perkins App. The App has been collaboratively developed with customers to help them not only work smarter, but also to save time by allowing them to check stock on the go from their local branch and order instantly with their personal trade prices.
Alternatively, customers can also use the fast and convenient one hour Click & Collect service, or next day delivery as well as a Branch Delivery Tracking Service, which gives them the best possible delivery notifications in real-time without having to make a telephone call.
These innovative ways to trade are designed to save customers time; something which is reported as their biggest pain-point. Combined, these provide a one-stop personalised experience, whether on the move, on site, in-branch – whenever and wherever they need it.

Travis Perkins Warrington is located at Travis Perkins, Farrell Street, Warrington WA1 2DT and is open from 7.30am-5pm.
