One casualty handed to care of paramedics after cooking smoke logs property

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus handed one casualty to the care of paramedics after cooking smoke logged a property at Bewsey, Warrington.

At 20:08 on Thursday evening, two crews from Warrington and Penketh were called to reports of smoke coming from a property on Delves Avenue.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property with a hose reel jet. They found no fire, but there was heavy smoke logging caused by cooking.

Crews assisted one casualty out of the property and handed them over to be treated by paramedics.
