Road closure confirmed on Padgate Lane for up to two weeks

PART of Padgate Lane will close for up to two weeks next Monday (March 18) to allow gas mains replacement works.

Padgate Lane will be closed from its junction with Bridlemere Court to Orford Road from March 18 for up to two weeks.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Padgate Lane (northeast traffic) from its junction with Orford Road to its junction with Bridlemere Court.

The Order will be effective from 18th March 2024 for 2 weeks, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Orford Road, Birchwood Way and Blackbrook Avenue.
The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out mains replacement works.
