WITH their last two games being postponed, Warrington Rylands hope to welcome Stafford Rangers to The Hive Arena on Saturday for a NPL Premier Division fixture, kick off 3pm.

With both teams seeing their games postponed due to the icy conditions last Saturday, Rylands home fixture on Tuesday against Marske United was postponed for the 3rd time this season, while Stafford Rangers did manage to get onto the pitch losing 6-0 at home to Kidsgrove Athletic in the Staffordshire Senior Cup.
Stafford Rangers made a mixed start to the current season winning two of their four opening fixtures before hitting a disastrous run of form which saw them drop into the relegation zone in September where they have remained ever since and cost manager Matt Hill his job last month.
The new incumbent of the Marston Road hot seat isformer Nantwich Town manager Dave Cooke, whose first game in charge against Atherton Collieries on Tuesday 28th November saw Rangers win for the first time since August beating the bottom of the table team 2-0.

The win against Atherton Colls lifted Stafford Rangers off the bottom of the NPL Premier Division’s form table into 21st place with a record of 1 win and a draw in their last six league outings, while Rylands with a record of 2 wins, 3 draws and 1defeats are 9th.

The two teams current league standings:
P          W         D          L          GF        GA       GD       PTS      POS
Rylands            18        10        6          2          25        15        10        36        2
Stafford           17        3          2          12        14        36        -22       11        21

With just one win, and seven defeats, in their eight away games Stafford Rangers have the 2nd worst away record in the division while Warrington Rylands with a Hive Arena record of 6 wins, a draw and 2 defeats from their 9 home games have the 10th best home record.
Warrington Rylands said goodbye to two players who departed the Hive Arena this week.
Chiekh Thiam has left in search of regular game time, while Scott Bakkor (below) has brought to an end his 3rd spell at the club to move to Australia with his new wife.
