Police Dog Dax helps catch man on the run after fail-to-stop incident

A POLICE dog helped catch a man on the run from police after a fail-to-stop incident in Warrington late last night.

With a police helicopter also called in PD Jax supported by officers helped capture a 24-year-old man after police attempted to stop a black Audi A4 on Northway, Longford.

The vehicle made off from police before the driver jumped out on Sandy Lane in Orford.

Officers searched the area, supported by police dogs and a helicopter, and the man was located within two minutes by Police Dog Dax.

The 24-year-old male from Manchester was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of failing to stop and dangerous driving.
