THOUSANDS of visitors turned out over the weekend for Warrington’s Christmas Weekend Wonderland which took place across the town centre, culminating with a spectacular light show on the front of the iconic town hall.

Even The Grinch would have been hard-pressed not to have been impressed by the wide variety of activities to entertain people of all ages.

Delivered by Warrington BID, Warrington’s Weekend Wonderland was a collaboration with Warrington Borough Council and Culture Warrington.

The weekend of activities brought together Independent Street Markets, events and colourful performances with a festive extravaganza filled with local art, crafts, food, and entertainment.
