HAVING beat Worksop Town last Saturday and Litherland Remyca on Tuesday, Warrington Rylands will be looking for their third win of the week when they welcome Basford United to the Hive Arena for a NPL Premier Division fixture.

Visiting Gorsey Lane for the first time in their history Basford United, who switched over the Southern League Premier Division Central last summer, have been struggling in the relegation zone all season, although despite losing 3-0 at home to Workington last Saturday have enjoyed better form in the last month.
Basford have recorded two of their three wins in the last month and having held Macclesfield to a draw  are 12th in  Division’s form table while Rylands with a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and a defeat are 7th.
“Although the league table does not lie” assistant manager Nicky Hunt is not expecting a walk over as “there are no easy games in this league.”

Rylands have boosted their fire power with the addition of two new forward signings with Djavan Pedro joining on loan from Salford City and Joe Adams signing in from Atherton Collieries.  Both are expected to be in the match day squad.

The two teams current league standings:
P          W         D          L          GF        GA       GD       PTS      POS
Rylands            17        10        5          2          24        14        10        35        2
Basford            18        3          4          11        18        30        -12       13        19

Having not won away from home this season – 1 draw and 8 defeats – Basford United have the worst away record in the division  while Warrington Rylands with a Hive Arena record of 6 wins and 2 defeats from their8 home games have the 7th  best home record.
For any early arrivals the 1906 lounge and the new pitch side supporters bar, The Dom, will be open from 12pm showing Manchester City v Liverpool.
