Police shocked to discover 15 people, including children, crammed in car on M62 at Winwick

WHEN police stopped an overloaded car on the M62 at Winwick, Warrington, they were shocked to discover 15 people, including children, crammed into the vehicle.

All, including the driver, were unrestrained, with the adults being issued traffic offence reports.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 11.30 officers stopped a black Vauxhall Zafira on the M62 near to junction 9, Winwick.
“Upon approaching the vehicle officers found that there were 15 people inside the car (11 adults and four children) who were not wearing seatbelts.
“Officers escorted the vehicle off the motorway and all the adults were issued with Traffic Offence Reports.”
