High winds bring tree down across road at Lymm

A road at Lymm was closed this afternoon after high winds caused by Storm Debi brought down a tree.

Local police closed the road while work was undertaken to remove the tree.

The road has since re-opened. There were no reports of any injuries or damage to vehicles.

In another incident, a large tree fell at the entrance to Sankey Valley Park at Bewsey.
