Male arrested for possessing Class A drugs in town centre

A male was arrested in possession of Class A drugs as trained Project Servator officers patrolled Warrington town centre today, Friday.

Officers were on the lookout for the tell-tale signs that someone may be gathering information that may prepare them to plan and commit a crime.

Officers arrested the male who was demonstrating behaviours that specially trained officers look out for and was subsequently arrested for Possession of class A drugs.

Police say Project Servator deployments are completely normal and nothing to worry about. It isn’t linked to any specific intelligence or a threat to the area.
The specially trained officers can pop up at any place, any time and weather
