FURTHER evening road closures for Cromwell Avenue, Warrington for carriageway resurfacing works have been confirmed.
Up to three weeks of closures are scheduled to come into force from November 19 between 7 p.m.-1 a.m. to minimise traffic disruption.
Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Cromwell Avenue from the roundabout at Twenty Acre Road/Old Hall Road to its junction with Ladywood Road/Westbrook Crescent; Twenty Acre Road from Cromwell Avenue for 50 metres; Shackleton Close from Cromwell Avenue for 100 metres.
The Order will be effective from 19th November 2023 for 3 weeks, between 7 pm and 1 am, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Sankey Way, Whittle Avenue, Westbrook Way and vice versa.
The closure is required for carriageway resurfacing.

With reference to the roadworks Cromwell Avenue / Twenty Acre Road 50m. Is it the northern section or the southern section.
