More than 1,000 registrations for Solar Together Warrington

WITH just over a week left to register interest for the Solar Together Cheshire & Warrington scheme, there have already been more than 1,000 registrations from residents and businesses in the town.

So far more than 1,000 registrations have been received for the scheme from Warrington alone, and over 5,000 have registered from across Cheshire.
The Solar Together scheme takes advantage of group buying to help make the process of installing solar panels and batteries easier and more affordable for residents and businesses.

For those who have already invested in solar panels and are looking to get more from the renewable energy they generate, there is also a retrofit battery storage option.

Cllr Janet Henshaw, cabinet member for sustainability and climate change, said: “There’s less than two weeks left to get involved in this great scheme.
“Simply register your details to get a personalised quote from a local installer, and there is no obligation to go forward with the recommendation.
“Join over 1,000 local residents and businesses in Warrington who have taken the first step to installing solar panels and powering their homes with greener energy, register your interest for free today.”

Warrington residents can register their interest for the scheme until Friday 27 October.
