Three gymnasts crowned “British Champions”

THREE gymnasts from the Urban School of Gymnastics in Warrington have been crowned British Champions.

They collectively won 12 medals following a host of stellar performances at the Disability British Artistic Championships at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
The event, which saw 60 junior and senior gymnasts from across the country take to the competition floor across the men’s and women’s artistic disciplines, was an incredible showcase of talent from British gymnasts.

The impressive medal haul is made up of eight gold medals and four silver medals.
Medal winners from the Urban School of Gymnastics were:
• Competition A Class I Women’s Junior – Izzy Hannibal (Vault, Silver, Uneven Bars Gold, Beam, Gold, Floor, Silver and All-Around, Gold.

• Open Class I Women’s Junior – Lily Heather Maskill (Beam, Gold, Uneven Bars, Gold,
Floor, Gold, Vault, Gold and All-Around, Gold)
• Open Class I Women’s Junior – Lacey Willington (Uneven Bars, Silver, and Floor, Silver)
