THE 15th High Legh Robert Moffat Memorial 10k will be held on Sunday March 17th at the original start time of 11am, and local residents and runners alike are already looking forward to the event.

The race involves the whole community as it’s organised by the High Legh Community Association with Lymm Runners. Delicious sandwiches and cakes are provided by the PTA, plus there are wonderful prizes and support from generous local sponsors.
Those who have entered the race before will know what a fun and friendly race it is, as it caters for all abilities. It’s even been noticed by the National press, including the Guardian who described it as ‘one of the best races in the UK’ and Runners’ World who praised it as ‘well organised, competitive and welcoming.’
Runners can enjoy a very scenic flat course along the local lanes after going through the village where they are cheered on by High Legh residents.

The race is also supported by many local volunteers and Marshals, who make such a difference with their friendliness and commitment to making sure that the runners are safe.
Furthermore, this year, there’s an extra chance for 15 minutes of fame for entrants as the fabulous Cheshire Mix 56 Radio will be broadcasting again, LIVE from the event.
So if this sounds like your sort of thing, you’ll be pleased to know that there are still a few places left.
