Multiple shoplifter banned from village store

A male arrested for carrying out multiple shoplifting offences at the Sainsbury’s village store in Lymm has been banned from the premises.

He was dealt with via a community resolution, whereby he has been ordered to repay the amount for the items taken and has been banned from the store on The Cross.

Meanwhile in June this year, another male was seen shoplifting at Sainsbury’s at The Cross.
A local PCSO attended the store and identified the male due to previous encounters.
This male shoplifter has since been arrested and charged with this incident and another 4 incidents of shoplifting and has been jailed for 16 weeks.
