Teenage boy charged with three burglaries

A teenage boy arrested at Culcheth earlier this week has now been charged with three burglaries by police in Warrington.

The 17-year-old, from the Wythenshawe area, was arrested on Wednesday 13 September. He has since been charged with three counts of burglary and theft.

The charges relate to an incident in Culcheth, Warrington, on Wednesday, 13 September, and two incidents on Saturday 26 August in Wythenshawe and Denton.

The boy has been bailed to next appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 5 October.
A 20-year-old man from Wythenshawe was also arrested on Wednesday, 13 September in connection with the incidents. He has since been bailed, pending further enquiries.
