WARRINGTON’S popular Poacher pub has revealed plans to enhance its beer garden with an attractive, timber-covered pergola.
The proposals at The Poacher, in Gorse Covert Road, Birchwood are currently being studied by Warrington Borough Council planners.
The garden will also be revamped to attract new customers.
A report to officers says the use of the building and the site would remain unaltered but existing customer facilities and staff operation will be improved to help maintain the ongoing economic viability of what is already a well-established operation.
The development will provide additional covered seating in the beer garden.
Planning officers will make a decision under delegated powers.
