CHAIRMAN Cllr Keith Bland and a number of other members of Culcheth Parish Council attended Ukraine Independence Day celebrations at the Daten Club, Culcheth.
The well-attended event was organised by members of the Ukrainian Family Hub based at the club.
A church service was followed by celebrations and refreshments at the Daten.
Cllr Sue Bland said: “A great time was had by all.”
The Ukrainian Family Hub was set up to help Ukrainian refugees in the Warrington area.
It meets at the Daten – Culcheth Sports Club – in Charnock Road twice a week , on Wednesdays and Sundays, and offers help to refugees, including English lessons, visa applications and social events.
