A BUSY road was closed to traffic at Warrington early today after a two-car collision.
The crash was on Daten Avenue, Birchwood, and a fire and rescue crew from Birchwood Fire Station went to the scene shortly before 8am.
Two people were injured and were treated by paramedics.
Last night, firefighters from Warrington dealt with a fire involving a motorcycle – suspected to be arson – on Alder Lane, Warrington.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze and the area was dampened down.
Police are investigating.
