Motorbike seized and rider arrested for possession of drugs

A male who abandoned his motorbike and made off during the early hours of the morning was swiftly arrested by police in the Poplars & Hulme area of Warrington.

He was arrested for failure to stop, possession of a class b drug and driving without insurance.

His motorbike was also seized and taken off the road.

Meanwhile, ocal officers have also carried out speed enforcement in the Blackbrook Avenue area revealing the highest recorded speed on 43mph in a 30mph zone. Complaints from residents regarding vehicle speed on this road are common, prompting ongoing speed enforcement efforts. As a result of the latest enforcement, 13 drivers were caught speeding and their details will be forwarded to the central ticket office for further action.
