GRAPPENHALL went down disappointingly at Chester Boughton Hall – a team they had beaten earlier in the year.

The result meant Grappers plunged down into the Cheshire County League premier division relegation zone again with a worrying gap opening up between them and the team above them.
It was a closely fought game. Grappers bowled well to dismiss the home side for 164, with Sam Guest, Tom MacRury and Joe Ashmore taking three wickets each.
But their reply started badly, with a wicket down before a run was on the board. Arav Shetty top-scored with 27 and towards the end Kieran Lawton hit 25, but overall the batting had a bad day. The final deficit was 23 runs
Grappenhall 2nd won at Timperley after putting the home side in first and bowling them out for 160. Ian Hall took 5-30 and Stanley Pennington 3-33.
In reply Grappers started badly with three wickets down for 32. But later batsmen rallied and Gaz Burns, 49 and Ross Arrowsmith, 38 not out turned the tables to enable Grappenhall to win by five wickets.

Grappenhall 3rd romped to a big win at Ashton on Mersey, batting first and hitting 230-6.
Ian Wright hammered 94 and got good support from a number of other batsmen.
Ashton were restricted to 116 with Zach Tully taking 4-24 and Omair Arif 3-23.
Umer Zeb took 6-37 as Warrington dismissed Northwich for 108 on their way to a comfortable nine wicket victory at Walton Lea.
Brad Roden chipped in with 3-23 as the visitors struggled for runs.
Then Warrington showed there was no devil in the wicket as they coasted to 111-1 in just under 21 overs.
Patrick Tyrell hit 54 not out and Charlie Jones 36.
Warrington 2nd went down by 70 runs at Davenham.
The home side batted first and totalled 205-8 declared. Ravi Sabba, 3-44, was the most successful Warrington bowler.
Warrington were bowled out for 135 with Sabba again the stand-out player, hitting 35.
Warrington 3rd won by four wickets at Winnington Park after restricting the home side to 130.
Lymm Oughtrington Park went down by four wickets in a low-scoring match at home to Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge.

Put in first, they were tumbled out for 50, despite opener Antonnel Atwell hitting 23. But the visitors struggled too and lost six wickets reaching their target. Anthony Spaven took 3-15.
Lymm 2nd lost by 60 runs at Oxton.
The home side hit a challenging 255 despite Naman Sethi taking 5-57. Lymm batted well in reply but were all out for 195. Openers Prashant Nanda and Robert Johnson hit 47 and 51 respectively and Mani Singh hit 32.
Glazebury lost by four wickets at Heaton Mersey Village.
Batting first, they hit 162-9, skipper Anthony Meulman top scoring with 71 and Kyle Keeble hitting 33.
The home side replied with 165-6 with Josh Ennis taking 3-53.
Glazebury 2nd lost by 106 runs against Urmston.
