FIREFIGHTERS were called to Witherwin Avenue, Appleton, Warrington, last night after a fire was reported.
The blaze involved a quantity of wooden pallets in the open.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the outbreak has not been revealed. There was no damage to property.
