Smoke in bedroom caused by mobile phone charger

FIREFIGHTERS went to a house in Padgate, Warrington, following reports of dense smoke in a bedroom.
They used a ventilation unit to clear the smoke from the property in Vulcan Close.
The smoke was caused by an over-heated mobile phone charger.
There were no reports of casualties.
Two fire engines attended the incident.
