A suspected drug dealer was caught following a foot chase with police after running off from a fight in Lymm village centre last night.

The male made off following a fight in the centre of Lymm and tried throwing away some items along the way.

However, police managed to recover two of his phones. These phones showed messages relating to drug dealing and so he was arrested and taken into custody overnight.
Officers then searched his address and found a large quantity of cannabis, white powder along with scales, nitrous oxide cannisters and a large amount of cash.
The suspect will be interviewed by police today.
