One casualty assisted following two vehicle collision on M62 at Winwick

THREE fire crews were called to a two-vehicle collision on the M62 at Winwick where one casualty was assisted by paramedics at the scene.

The incident was at 17:23 yesterday, Tuesday on M62 between junctions 9 and 10, eastbound.

Two vehicles involved in a road traffic collision were checked by firefighters using a thermal imaging camera. The crews check the temperature of one vehicle to ensure there was no chance of a fire starting.
One casualty was also helped at the scene. Paramedics and police also attended.
