LENGTHY delays with up to four miles of congestion were being reported on the M62 near Birchwood, Warrington, during the peak rush hour traffic following a lorry breakdown.
Lanes 1 and 2 were CLOSED on the M62 eastbound between J11 Birchwood, Warrington and J12#M60 due to the broken down Heavy Goods Vehicle.
Recovery has been arranged and is en-route.
As of 5pm there were currently delays of 30 mins and approx and 4 miles of congestion.
