AN off-road scrambler causing a nuisance riding dangerously in the Chapelford area of Warrington was caught by police after stalling his machine.

Officers from Great Sankey North police were called out following reports of a scrambler bike being ridden dangerously around the Chapelford area.

Local officers responded to the call and conducted an area search. The Roads Crime Unit quickly located the bike, unfortunately for the rider they stalled which allowed officers to seize the bike.
The driver has now been dealt with for driving without a license and without insurance.

Officers have also visited locations where incidents have recently been reported. Yesterday, Saturday, this included the Tim Parry Recreation Ground and Vine Crescent following reports of scrambler bikes in the area.
