Weapons seized as armed police raid Orford property

A number of weapons were seized as local police supported by armed officers raided a property at Orford, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.

The raid took place shortly before 11 am this morning on Cabul Close, Orford, involving officers supported by the firearms unit.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At around 10.55am on Wednesday 19 July, police were called by a partner agency who reported that a number of weapons had been found at an address in Cabul Close, Warrington.
“Local officers, supported by the firearms unit, were deployed to the scene and conducted a search of the property, with a number of weapons being located and seized.
“Enquiries are ongoing at this time and no arrests have been made.”
