Piranhas gobble up the silverware

IT was a busy end of season for Lymm Piranhas Junior Football Club with its teams competing for their respective league titles and cup finals.

The U15 Rangers secured a league and cup double, first capturing the Alf Holt Cup with Jayden Cameron winning the Player of the Match title, awarded by the league officials.
Four days later they went on to secure the Warrington Junior Football League (WJFL) Division 1 title.

U15 Rangers manager and club chairman Bruce Underhill said: “I’m so proud and delighted for the lads. Six of this squad have been in the team since it was formed as U7s”
Other Piranhas teams were also picking up silverware.
U14 Eagles secured the WJFL division 3 league title.
U13 Villa were promoted as WJFL division 3 runners up.
U12 Lightning promoted as WJFL division 1 runners up.
U13 Villa were Alf Holt Cup finalists.
U12 Lightning were Presidents Cup finalists
