SIX miles of congestion and 90 minutes delays were being reported on the M62 at Winwick this morning following a collision.
The collision took place on M62 eastbound between J8 (Burtonwood) and J9 before services slip road (Winwick / Warrington).
Three lanes (of 4) were closed and there was approx. 6 miles of congestion approach to the closures which was adding about 90 minutes to normal journey times
While all lanes are now open delays of 90 minutes remain.
