WARRINGTON-based Soup Productions has reunited and is ready to return to the theatre for the first time in over 12 months, with its new production ‘Little Red’ at The Pyramid in Warrington in October 2023.
‘Little Red’ tells the classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood but with a twist. This story features dangerous wolves, wicked queens and a collection of familiar fairy tale characters to bring this new adaptation to life.
This will be Soup’s first production since 2019 and public appearance since the cancellation of their production of ‘Alice’ in June 2023 due to the impact of Covid-19. It has been a challenging time for all amateur dramatics groups and Soup is no exception. We found ourselves in a situation where Soup had pretty much vanished however, the drive of the current committee and sparks of interest from new members has led to our group rising from the ashes.
To celebrate our return to the stage, Soup is offering discounted tickets to £10 until 6 July 2023 (Under our ‘Once Upon A Time’ offer). The show is suitable for all the family, is fun and will get everyone in the spooky Halloween mood and early panto spirit.
