Two weeks of road closures confirmed on Rush Green Road at Lymm

TWO weeks of evening road closures on Rush Green Road, Lymm will come into force next Monday, July 3.

The road closures which are due to start on July 3rd for up to two weeks will be from 7pm until midnight for carriageway resurfacing works.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Rush Green Road from its junction with The Priory to its junction with Sandy Lane.
The Order will be effective from 3rd July 2023 for 2 weeks, between 7pm and Midnight Monday to Friday, as and when signed on site.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via New Road, The Cross, Eagle Brow, Church Road, Higher Lane, Burford Lane, Mill Lane, Birch Brook Road and vice versa. There will be a separate diversion along A6144 and A56 for vehicles over 2.75m/9’ or 3T and vice versa, if vehicles are over 18T then A6144 Carrington spur to the M60 will be used and vice versa. The closure is required for carriageway surfacing works.
