Sunshine and showers at Royal Cheshire show

SUNSHINE and showers were the order of the day as exhibitors from across the county took part in the annual two-day Royal Cheshire Show this week.

From Extreme Bikers ( pictured above) to “The Wonky Artist” Rachel Smith-Ruffele, there was something for everyone.

Rachel, pictured below broke her neck in a diving accident abroad when she was 23 and hit by a freak wave in the Indian Ocean.
“I hit my head on a sandbank and very nearly drowned. I was told I would never walk again and that I would be forever in a wheelchair. They were right about that…..but despite all that I’ve learnt to drive again, adapted a home, got married, had a baby, worked and travelled, all from my rolling throne.”

Other exhibitors pictured below include the North West Stickmakers who are based at Risley Moss, Thoughful Botanicals and the North Cheshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers.

The Cheshire Show takes place at Tabley near Knutsford.
