Police launch CCTV appeal after assault victim suffers facial injuries

DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to in relation to an assault near Warrington town centre.

On Sunday May 14, at around 1am, officers in Warrington received reports of a 22-year-old man having been assaulted on Legh Street.
He suffered facial injuries, including the loss of a tooth.
As part of their investigation, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.

Police Constable Anna Hull from Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “This investigation is ongoing and we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may be able to help with our enquiries.
“If you think you recognise the man or have information regarding his identity please come forward.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch.
”Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1546898.”
