LOCAL police have launched an appeal for information following reports of two youths on a yellow moped attempting to steal pedal bikes from youngsters in the Hood Manor area of Great Sankey.
Police have received reports of a yellow moped been ridden around the Great Sankey area and are looking for further information of sightings/potential whereabouts.
They believe that two males have been riding around whilst wearing face coverings and have been attempting to steal bikes from youths across the local area.

Local residents took to social media to report an incident outside the local Spar shop at Hood Manor on Friday afternoon.
