Shopping trolley and wooden pallets torched in community garden

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night after a shopping trolley loaded with wooden pallets was torched in a community garden at Longford, Warrington.

At 19:36 one crew from Warrington attended reports of a fire on Northway.

Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish the fire in a community garden. The fire involved a shopping trolley and wooden pallets

Then at 00:02 one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire on Grasmere Avenue, Orford.

Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish a small fire. Police were also in attendance to due to the deliberate nature of the fire.
