Knutsford Road swing bridge re-opens following concerns for welfare incident

UPDATED: KNUTSFORD Road swing bridge has re-opened following a concern for welfare incident shortly after 10 am this morning (Friday).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said at the time: “At 10.05am this morning police we called to the Knutsford Road Swing Bridge following reports of concern for welfare of a man on the bridge.
Police are currently at the scene negotiating with him.”

The man was was eventually arrested for an allegation of causing a public nuisance and the bridge re-opened shortly after 3pm.
