Three people taken to hospital as Chester Road closed following collision

THREE people were taken to hospital and Chester Road near Warrington was closed, following a two vehicle collision.

At 14;20, today, Friday emergency services, including police, ambulance and fire attended the two vehicle collision on Chester Road, near the junction of M56 junction 11, Preston Brook.

The road was closed following the collision between a car and a van.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital as a result of the collision, but their injuries aren’t beleived to be serious.

One fire crew from Penketh attended at the scene and made the vehicles safe and casualties were passed over to the care of paramedics.
