WARRINGTON’S very own dance groups, IndepenDance and JC Dance Academy, are set to compete for the 2 vs 2 championship title at the highly anticipated hip-hop and break-dancing event, Breakvision.

Breakvision hits St Helens Town Hall on Sunday June 4, as part of the Eurovision Legacy Programme. From 12pm to 5pm the Town Hall will transform into a pulsating haven of Hip Hop culture, welcoming both competitive Break Dancers and curious onlookers to experience the soul-stirring energy that hip-hop and break dancing bring.
Prepare to be dazzled by mind-bending flips, gravity-defying spins, and the synchronicity of dancers in perfect harmony with the beat.
Breakvision promises to be an afternoon of creativity and passion, showcasing a diverse range of dancers who will leave spectators awe-struck. From established Break Dance crews to up-and-coming individuals, the stage will be set ablaze by their explosive moves.

In addition to the exhilarating dance battles, Powered by Hip Hop (UC Crew) will also offer an array of interactive activities for families to enjoy. Participate in Hip Hop workshops led by industry professionals, where you can learn and watch the fundamentals of Break Dancing Graffiti Art, DJing, Beatboxing and Circus.
There is no cost to attend the event or join in the activity workshop, but donations to St Helens Food Bank are encouraged.
This event is funded by Heritage Lottery Fund and Culture Liverpool as part of Eurofest
