Three fire crews tackle kitchen fire as one casualty suffers smoke inhalation

THREE fire crews were called out to tackle a kitchen fire at a property on Stafford Road, Warrington, where one casualty suffered smoke inhalation.

At 16:37 yesterday, Friday, crews from Warrington, Birchwood and Lymm attended reports of a kitchen fire.

Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A large fan was then used to disperse smoke from the property. One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
