Two fire engines tackle kitchen blaze

TWO fire engines were called to a kitchen fire at a flat in Densham Avenue, Longford, Warrington yesterday (Monday)
The crews from Warrington and Birchwood wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
They then stripped back parts of the kitchen to ensure there were no further signs of fire and checked for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera. A large fan was used to disperse smoke from the property.
All persons within the premises were accounted for and there were no reports of injuries
