Police alerted after youngsters start camp fire in wooded area

POLICE were alerted after firefighters were called out to a campfire started by young people in a wooded area at Orford, Warrington.

Shortly after 7:30 pm one crew from Warrington was called out to Hallfields Road, Orford, where a water backpack was used to put out a campfire lit by a group of young people in a wooded area. Police were informed.

Earlier at around 7:15 pm one crew from Warrington was called out to the Alban Retail Park on Hawleys Lane, Warrington, following reports of a bin on fire and used a hose reel water jet to extinguish it.
